Speaking of interaction, you are required to completely fill out a profile and have it approved by the moderators before you can get started in the chat rooms or use other cool features on the site. But it’s not too difficult. There is a handy list of guidelines that tells you how and why they do shit this way. The events page actually had events! Usually, those pages are fucking ghost towns. But there was one up top about an event in Manchester that only cost 5 bucks to go it. It was for people who wanted to meet up, drink, and fuck. Condoms and lube graciously provided. The venues section was similar. Just listings for places to hold events or host meetups. The chat rooms are where the site really shines though. This is where you can talk to a bunch of other people and get to know the community. My favorite feature about TV Chix has got to be the sheer amount of resources they have on here. I can’t believe how much shit they pack into this site. And it’s all being used! There were no dead sections. Even the forum was alive and kicking. If you’re trans, interested in trans people, or anything in between, then this site has just about every resource you could possibly need to get involved, hookup, learn about the community, and get laid. It’s a seriously good site with a pretty wholesome goal. Not many porn or dating sites could say that.

Take these suggestions with a grain of salt. Since there’s not a lot funding to go around I doubt that they could all be accomplished, but I’ll say them anyway. I think users with no profile should be able to lurk. Maybe not post in the galleries or forums, but being able to check everywhere out first would be nice, even if those users were muted/couldn’t participate. Also, make a dedicated mobile site. It’s a large undertaking, but it would be awesome to be able to take this content on the go. Lastly, I think the site design could be improved. It’s functional, yeah, but it’s not the prettiest.
