Toonily has such a cutesy name that for a second, I had a feeling I might be checking out a totally wholesome, SFW catalog of comics about kittens, princesses and anthropomorphic household appliances. Of course, as the world-famous Porn Dude, I don’t get many links in my DMs that I can’t jack off to. As soon as I clicked through to the site in question, it became apparent that this ain’t the kind of thing I can share with my nieces and nephews. My mom, on the other hand, might really get a kick out of it, but she’s an absolute freak.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, Toonily.me is a free collection of adult-oriented manga and manhwa. I’m not sure if they’re affiliated with Toonily.com, but they do share a name and a general theme. These guys get a million visits a month, so they ain’t quite as popular as the dot-com, but they sure ain’t hurting for traffic. I had bibimbap for breakfast and sushi for lunch today, plus a couple Viagras and weed gummies, which put me in just the mood to give the joint a fap test. Now, where the hell did I put my tentacle-shaped cock massager and slime lube?
Manga vs Manhwa vs Hentai vs You
I couldn’t resist opening with a tentacle rape joke, as that’s what a lot of people associate with hentai. Before the weebs blow up my inbox with messages about what Toonily is all about it, let’s take a quick look at what kind of smut they’re peddling. You might notice that the front page ain’t quite as freaky as some of the other hentai platforms out there, with nary an alien sexual predator to be seen. Truth be told, I did a search for “tentacle” and only turned up one result. What gives?
One of the big things that separates Toonily from other hentai sites is the inclusion of manhwa. It’s basically the same damn thing as manga, only it originates in Korea rather than Japan. It’s an ocean away, but can be a world of difference, depending on what you’re into. Manhwa has a lot of the same weird shit you find in manga, but libraries of the stuff also tend to feature more down-to-earth adult storytelling. There’s a fair amount of romance mixed in with the usual sucking, fucking and cucking.
That said, one of the first things I noticed out front was the nice range of material on offer. There are sexy office ladies, slutty nurses, big-bootied broads in nylons, and even one fox-eared babe getting groped in the thumbnail for something called This World’s Breastfeeding Café. As mentioned above, the preview images are a little more restrained than the balls-out sexual craziness of other sites, so I opened the Genres menu in the header for a broader view of the selection.
Sure enough, I found a fat handful of those freakier subgenres that a lot of you are looking for. They’ve got Ecchi, Harem and Incest stories, a selection of Yaoi and another of Yuri, and yeah, even a Rape aisle for those who appreciate a little bit of non-con in their Asian comics. Most of the Genres, though, could be seen as relatively wholesome, depending on the angle. Fantasy, Comedy, Horror and Historical are included right alongside kinkier stuff like BDSM, Manhwa Hentai, Smut and Uncensored.
Fresh Adult Manhwa on the Daily
Toonily.me hasn’t been around quite as long as Toonily.com, but they have been around long enough to build up an impressive collection. The design of the site makes it a little difficult to get a fully accurate count of the manga and manhwa in the pile, but if I’ve done my math right, they’ve got over 2000 Asian adult comics to choose from. Even the most depraved weaboo is going to have a hell of time fapping their way through the entire stash. I’m not saying you shouldn’t try, of course, but you should definitely stock up on lube first.
Part of the formula is obviously the rapid release rate on the site. A lot of the comics are ongoing stories, with new chapters being added all the time. They add dozens of new comics and new chapters every day. I’m whipping up this review on a Tuesday afternoon, and they’ve added 28 fresh bits of illustrated smut in just the last 24 hours. It’s wild how free sites like this can stock the shelves constantly while your average paysite drops just one new video per week. That even goes for my own PornDudeCasting, where I bang a new girl every Friday.
Today’s crop of comics includes Chapter 146 of a sci-fi action story called Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, chapter 112 of the aptly titled Panty Note Raw, and chapter 38 of My First Time Raw. Damn, my first time happened in just one episode, but it looks like the lovely Yoon Bom is really enjoying herself on campus, time and time again.
If you’re looking for something a little more self-contained, the Status menu in the header lets you select from Ongoing and Completed manhwa storylines. That’s how I fell down the rabbit hole and wasted a whole bunch of time flicking through 54 chapters of Is It Okay To Get Wet? Long story short, it’s not just okay, but entirely encouraged.
As I flipped through the Toonily.me catalog, I wished they did more tagging. The streamlined list of Genres is useful, but could be a lot more useful if they included more of the sex acts, fetishes and scenarios included in the hentai. I’m not saying they need one of those crazy, thousands-deep indexes of tags you find on some of the other hentai sites, but a basic set of the usual porn niches would go a long way in helping users find what they’re looking for. A lot of the material here is completely untagged, while the tagged content feels inadequately labeled.
Fap-Testing the Toonily.me Catalog
Since Toonily’s tagging left a little something to be desired, I decided to choose something for my official fap test based on the titles. Elf Who Likes To Be Humiliated sounded promising, as did It’s Okay Because We’re Family, My Sister-In-Law’s Skirt and Living With a MILF Raw. Ultimately, though, I just had to get a peek at one called Girl’s Island: Only I Can Fuck Them All! The exclamation point is included in the title as well as my own excitement over it, and the story is currently up to Chapter 15.
I jumped right in with the latest episode. Toonily.me doesn’t have the advanced hentai reader or gallery view like you find on some sites, instead opting for a simple one-page presentation for each chapter. Instead of clicking to flip through pages, you’ll just be scrolling along with one hand as you work yourself over with the other.
Chapter 15 opens with a naked chick doing her best to cover her titties, her whole body glistening with fluid. The art is in full color with excellent shading, adding a bit more realism to the big-eyed hentai style. A couple panels later, we meet her male costar, who is doing his best to hide the boner raging inside his shorts. “Oh! This must be the sperm-ejecting stick that Ete was talking about!”
Naturally, she wants to take a look, and pulls the dude’s shorts down to see that sperm-ejecting stick. Unfortunately, most of the manga on the site suffers from the usual censorship you expect from hentai. Instead of seeing the dingdong, there’s a big, penis-shaped white space poking out of his pants. I’m not too disappointed about not seeing a wiener, but that ghostly afterimage looks weird when the babe wraps her jugs around it. It’s still pretty hot, though. “Hey… gimme your sperm too.”
You know, I think I understand why Toonily.me gets so much traffic: it’s all the free, X-rated manga and manhwa they’re peddling. They’ve done a great job with the presentation, organizing the whole site so it’s easy to find something fapworthy to dig into. What’s more, I didn’t see any spam at all with my adblocker running. I’d recommend a look at this one to anybody who wishes the average hentai site included more Korean manhwa in the catalog, as well as anybody who likes long-running serial comics full of pretty Asian girls and sexy situations.
