Whether it is my reviews of subreddits, premium porn sites, or sex tubes, it is typically pretty easy to figure out what niche they are catering to. Hell, just about most porn sites these days have a category page.
If it is a mainstream site like Brazzers, then you’ll see the usual such as lesbian, black, anal, MILF, etc. On more obscure, kink-centered platforms such as LoveWetting.com have themes similar to “normal” porn focused on desperation, competition, and simulated torture. Even sites much more “extreme” than that have many of the same predictable classifications for erotic entertainment. Perhaps the most unusual categories of porn on experimental websites such as Beautiful Agony have labels you would expect, like Males, Females, Trans, and Fantasy.
Now, I am sure you are wondering what could be more bizarre, taboo, or unexpected than that. Well, sometimes much more vanilla porn can do exactly that, as you can see on the Pretty Alt Girl subreddit.
This Subreddit Is Technically Safe For Work, But Barely
Unlike most of the adult-oriented media that I review, this one features only clothed women. Now, these ladies do not wear much, mind you. Indeed, they often push the boundaries of what is allowed since showing any naughty bits, even nipples, will get you banned.
As for what an alt girl is, it is sort of like defining pornography. A lot of people can’t define it, but they know it when they see it. The subreddit admins define them as having “heavy eyeliners, dyed hair, piercings, tattoos, all-black attires, and chunky boots.” I would add that these women have an interest in risque cosplay, anime (and probably hentai), geeky stuff, and anything that is out of the ordinary but sexy.
That is certainly the case when it comes to these women. Anyway, if you get the idea of what I am talking about and are excited, you will love the fact that there are loads of posts archived. Plus, there are over half a million followers with hundreds of verified users at any time, and new posts go up every day.
On This Subreddit, Quintessential Quality Is Queen
As of the beginning of 2024, only verified users are allowed to post, so you are not going to see copied posts from some random person’s Twitter profile. In fact, they do not even allow reposts from other pages on Reddit. That also means that you are going to glimpse gorgeous images of women who you will not see anywhere else online. Now, that might lead you to think that the quality is shit, or at least hit or miss. There is always the concern that some posters might try to enhance their shots with filters and Photoshop.
But that is not the case here!
I can tell not only because I have an eye for digitally altered images, but the admins do as well. According to the rules, “blurry, pixelated, and low-resolution posts are subject to removal.” Further, they do not allow for heavy filters or even allow pictures to be obscured by stickers or emojis.
The Mods Want You To Keep This Community Positive
To all of the alt girls who might be reading, if you are considering adding pics of your lovely body (and I hope that you do), you should know that this is a positivity-filled zone. There is a zero-tolerance policy for uncouth, uncivil, and generally creepy people.
To get going, all you need to do is get verified.
The mods need two pictures of you from two different angles with the day’s date, your Reddit name and r/prettyaltgirls written on a piece of paper. Please keep in mind that since this sub is so popular and therefore busy, they get swamped with dozens of applications a day. The mods are good about checking new users twice a week, but it could take two weeks to be given Verified User status. Just don’t harass the mods because that’s grounds for banning.
As for the rest of you fellas, for which that does not apply, you have homework. Spread this post far and wide all over the net so we can get as many new arousing alt women onto this site. As long as they don’t spam, advertise their Snap or OnlyFans or whatever, and qualify as “alternative,” then they should do just fine.
This Subreddit Certainly Lives Up To Its Name
Compared to all of the other subreddits that I typically look at, this one sort of throws me for a loop. Yes, that is quite strange coming from a guy who reports on the kinkiest content just about every smut site has to offer. But with all of the objectively pretty women, it’s hard not to love this sub.
Oh, and by the way, you should look up a few users in particular. For example, user-dejected Wraith commonly posts, and her pics are very well received. You will like her if you are into goth women who are exceptionally skinny. Haelle has some tasty-looking tattoos and commonly takes snaps of herself in the skimpiest outfits. Then there is Daisy Dares, who is one of the top-rated users of all time on this sub. Her ample ass alone is worth looking into this particular Reddit community.
So, I guess this is a decent subreddit by most people’s standards. Or you might consider it a great one if you like delicious chicks who do not fit the mold and look good despite all of the clothes.
