I wasn’t sure if I liked or hated Nxgx.com but one thing is certain, they didn’t leave me feeling like I wasted my time. At least they gave me something that so many sites didn’t – substance and character. They have a certain pull to them that’s luring you in but it is kind of hard to determine exactly what’s at play. I clicked on the site and immediately there was a popup, giving me a redirection to another site. Ah the bastards, they got me again! The second click did the same freakin’ thing and I even had my ad blocker on, imagine that. This was going to be one hell of a ride. I started to load my gun just in case some shit went down.
The moment you land on Nxgx.com you have a black background and a bunch of videos plastered all over the main page. The main page is like 4 scrolls deep and at the very bottom is – nothing! Just black space looking back at you leaving you to contemplate about your life and the futile existence that you all leading. What are you doing here? That’s what it’s asking you. One would think that something would be placed here, like some legal text claiming that all models are 18 years of age but now, how can I be sure? Where does it say that it’s cool to jerk off to these bitches? I don’t know man, things were becoming dark.
I clicked on a video, and after I clicked X on yet another pop-up page, I had the video at hand. Nxgx.com was kind of freaky and I liked it. There’s nothing but the site logo, three top bars, a search box and a video in the middle of the page. When I scrolled down there were some tags and a description of the video that was barely to be seen since it all blended into one same thing. The rest were “related” videos I guess but they weren’t all that relatable to me. Oh, and there it was again, that black hole that I grew to despise, staring back at me, taunting me to do it! I didn’t do it, whatever “it” is supposed to be however I did continue to check out Nxgx.com. They never stop surprising me.
The video that you open up is composed of all these thumbnails all over the screen at first. So you get to see like a preview of what the whole video is all about in one picture. Okay, that’s cool I guess since at first, I thought that the video was broken or something. I hit play and that damn pop up hit me again. That shit started to annoy the fuck out of me! I had to press play again and that’s when the video started playing. I couldn’t adjust the quality of the video but I could adjust the speed of it. You know how I like my porn to be fast. The streaming quality wasn’t all that but it was cool. You could still enjoy the video.
I don’t know. There was something weird about this site and I couldn’t quite put my finger quite on it. On one hand, I liked the weirdness and the vibe that I was getting but on the other, it seemed as if the site was made in god damn WordPress! There were all these spaces and it felt as if something was missing. The minimalistic take that the site wanted to have was cool, in theory, but once I got to use the site it was way to minimal and the whole thing just felt unfinished. That’s the vibe I got. It was a mix of emotions.
The site had three sections in the top bar. Yes, just three. New HD Videos and they weren’t even in HD, Live Sex, which is a redirect to a webcam site and HD Gay tube that I didn’t even bother to check out. That was it. They had 28 categories and just to name some of them, In Clothes, Moan and Fun don’t seem like they should be listed in the main Categories. Why waste it for a niche category when you don’t even have the basic ones. I mean, the whole thing was looking like it was breaking apart but still there was something I liked about it and I wasn’t sure what it was.
Nxgx.com is a free tube site one that has a bunch of videos that are streaming well, that are not categorized well but what I take from this site is that minimal approach. I loved it. There was no distracting bull shit like ads (besides the pop up), stupid sections, and all the nonsense that sites today all have. Sure, a site that offers a vast selection of content is going to be considered a pro but Nxgx.com managed to break the rules and deliver a product that seems as if it is broken yet it isn’t but you get a vibe that you’re gonna get a virus that’s gonna crash your PC for lifetime and eternity. Just for pulling this off, I actually give Nxgx.com a huge big up!
