Someone slipped a Crickex link into my DMs the other day, asking me to take a look and let them know what I thought. On most days, I spend the morning and afternoon reviewing hardcore pornography before relaxing in the evening with some recreational, off-the-clock masturbation. Based on the name, I really thought Crickex was going to be some weird-ass insect-related fetish fuckery, and I really wasn’t looking forward to fap testing it. Fortunately, it turned out to be something else entirely. It’s still pretty difficult to whack off to, but at least you might make some money while you’re at it.
Crickex.com is an online casino and sportsbook aimed at gamblers in India. While it’s been getting easier and easier for the whole goddamn world to risk and win cash on the internet, there aren’t really a lot of sites aimed at this particular market. Maybe that’s why Crickex’s traffic has been blowing up recently. They had a million visitors back in May; three months later, that number has tripled. I’m largely known as a professional pervert, but I’m actually a man of many vices, which is why I was eager to get inside and take a look around for myself. Who knows? Maybe I’ll end the day a little richer than I am right now.
Get Your Gamble On in India
I’m going to be honest here: Crickex ain’t the prettiest online casino I’ve seen lately. The domain was registered in 2017, but the crusty layout looks a decade old. Some of the graphics are poorly sized and don’t fit the page without fucking with your zoom settings, and there’s an obnoxious little gift icon hovering in the corner, getting in the way of the more useful links. I figured the icon was going to point out a signup bonus or something, and I was close; it actually mentions their gift point scheme, where “1 Gift Point = 1 Real Cash”.
I didn’t immediately understand what that meant, and unfortunately, that’s just kind of the setup around here. Before I started writing this, I spent half an hour digging through their FAQs, New Member Guide, and Rules and Regulations pages. The documentation is lacking, so I ended up needing to Google some of the basic fucking info I needed about the site to include in this review. Hopefully this writeup saves you the time I wasted.
The first thing you should know is that Crickex.com only accepts signups from India, and they require photo ID for verification. They ban the use of VPNs, though I didn’t have any trouble connecting from an unsupported country. Gamblers often like to gamble on sites where they ain’t technically allowed, but it probably ain’t worth the trouble here.
The reason I say this is because Crickex is one of few online casinos that doesn’t work with crypto. When you’re signing up for an account, they ask for your preferred currency. Your only options are INR, BDT and PKR, though they do offer a variety of payment and payout methods. The FAQ says withdrawals are free “for the most part,” which is kind of promising but kind of ominous.
Get Some Bonuses and an App
I’m writing this review with Crickex.com open in a separate window on my laptop, but you ain’t tethered to a computer with this site. They also offer an Android app, which will make it a lot easier for you to bet on cricket matches while you’re taking a huge dump on company time. The app ain’t available in the official Google store, so you’ll have to download it directly from the Crickex.com app page. Just look for the phone icon in the upper left corner to grab that APK download.
Alright, so the layout’s a little bit outdated, but that doesn’t tell you too much about the kind of fun you can have on the site. Casino games themselves haven’t changed all that much in decades, though they have evolved a bit with the modern conveniences of the internet. Of course, with so many different online gambling options, casinos have got to offer a nice set of perks if they want to lure players away from other sites.
I always look for a signup bonus, since it’s one of the very most common freebies you’ll find on these sites. Unfortunately, I didn’t find one here. Crickex certainly has less competition than other casinos when it comes to Indian gamblers, which may explain why they don’t even bother with the usual signup bonus you get almost anywhere else. It’s a noteworthy and surprising absence.
They do offer a variety of rotating promotions, though. One of the big ones hyped on the front page is a referral program to get your friends onboard in exchange for some cash in your account. The birthday bonus is a nice touch, too. Other current promos include gift points, weekly iPhone raffles, Monday Cashback and a 1.2% daily rebate on slots.
Who Are You Picking for Kabaddi?
And now the part you’ve all been waiting for: the games. Some of you may have been wondering how Crickex.com got the name, though I bet a bunch of you already figured it out. Cricket ain’t all that popular where I live, but Indians sure love it. Crickex started as a cricket betting site, but has since expanded to include a hell of a lot more ways to win some money.
Crickex offers a fully functional sportsbook that includes cricket, kabaddi, and a variety of other sports to bet on. The emphasis on cricket and kabaddi is a pretty big change of pace from what I expect from American gambling sites, since these sports aren’t played by Yankees. Hell, I bet most of them couldn’t tell kabaddi from pakoras. Right now, the big events hyped on the front page include the 2024 Asia Cup, Zimbabwe Tour of Australia, and South Africa Tour of England.
There’s a Live Streaming link near the bottom of the Crickex.com front page, claiming you can “Watch worldwide live broadcast.” That sounded like a really fucking cool feature, but when I clicked Watch Now, it just reloaded the front page. I’m guessing that’s just a temporary glitch, but I was a little disappointed.
They may have had cricket on the brain when they started the site, but there’s so much more than that now. If you ain’t a sports fan, the most accessible games are their hundreds of virtual slot machines. Online casino regulars will probably recognize some, since they’re made by the same brands you find on all the reputable gambling sites. If you’d like to get even lazier with the risk/reward cycle, check out the Lottery section.
The Casino and Table sections of Crickex offer two sides of basically the same coin: Casino offers classic Vegas games with a real, live human dealer, while Table offers many of the same games in a more virtual, automated format. Personally, I always prefer a live dealer, especially when they’ve got pretty girls. Crickex has a Sexy Baccarat game with “glamorous dealers in hot bikinis” who talk in “charming seductive voices.” I mentioned in my opening that this site is much harder to masturbate to than my usual fare, but these girls will give you something to shake your dick at while you’re placing bets.
So, what’s your game? They’ve got roulette, super sic bo, dragon tiger, Deal or No Deal Live, and a variety of European casino games with live dealers. Play some virtual poker, fuck with a coin toss or a high stakes bingo game, or even live it up with some risky minesweeper. Then again, the site is called Crickex, so why not just put it all down on your favorite Cricket team?
Crickex.com ain’t the prettiest online casino out there, but they’ve certainly got a few things going for them. The focus on players in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh is going to be a big draw all on its own, since so few gambling sites are aimed at the region. Who else devotes so much of their websites to kabaddi and cricket? Even if you’re not into the same Indian sports as your friends, the site offers a nice variety of ways to gamble away your hard-earned rupees and maybe strike it rich while you’re at it. At the end of the day, what more do you need?
