Well, this site takes this approach way too far in the weirdest way possible. They don’t actually charge you a subscription, even though they have the built-in functionality to allow you to subscribe to specific cam whores.
Instead, they lock most of their videos behind a friend wall. What is a friend wall, I hear you ask? Well, it’s a feature that prevents you from watching specific videos unless you’re friends with the person who uploaded them. This might make sense if the uploaders were the actual camwhores who recorded the videos. It could be a great way for them to build a following. However, most of these uploaders are just random fappers like yourself. So, you have to befriend some random perverts on CamHub’s social media platform in order to be allowed to jack off to videos that they’ve uploaded.
It gets even worse when you realize that there are literally thousands of them. Plus, they have to accept your friend invite and they have no incentive to do so. It kind of feels like you’re collecting Pokémon or some shit. To get unhindered access to all of these videos, you literally have to befriend every single uploader on the site and maybe even some people who’ve never uploaded before. That way, if they ever do upload, you can see their videos.
You can’t even pay money to get around this block, as far as I can tell. It’s really dumb, since this isn’t a social file sharing platform. It’s a porn tube. Why the fuck are these videos private? Do I have to pay the uploaders over BitCoin in order for them to accept my friend request? I have no fucking clue. As it currently stands, CamHub could be my next favorite tube site, but only if they got rid of the damn friend system. It just makes no sense at all.
