HentaiNexus.com wasn’t even registered until 2019, and it’s really taken off over the last 6 months or so. Popular hentai sites always seem to have steep traffic growth, and that’s what I see when I look at this one’s numbers. They’re currently getting well over a million visits a month, which makes sense. Everyone’s stuck at home with nothing else to do but masturbate to 18+ schoolgirl furries, devil sluts, and monster-fucked maidens.
Streamlined Delivery of XXX Hentai
The layout at Hentai Nexus ain’t much to look at, but I think that’s kind of the point. The design is streamlined as hell, with no bells or whistles to distract you from all the perverted Japanese comics on display. The header is a simple bar with HentaiNexus written in plain text, with just a few buttons and a search bar hidden in a dropdown menu. Even if I turn my spam-blocker off, there ain’t a dick pill ad, hentai game GIF, or horny local single in sight.
Do you want to know what is in sight, though? The layout presents the newest stuff first with no options to reshuffle the material, and the very most recent addition is a comic where God gives out hentai. That was the first thing I read, and it’s a pretty fucking fitting intro to the site. Is HentaiNexus.com actually owned and operated by God? I figured the dude had to be a pervert.
The front-page thumbnails show off a cover if one’s available, but most of the time, you’ll see the first page instead. The majority of the pieces here are in black and white, with a good smattering of full-color freakfests and office lady hump-a-thons. Flipping through the pages, I found just a couple that looked like mediocre Deviant offerings. Overall, the artistic standards are high as hell. They must be burning some good kush.
There are a lot of porn comic sites out there that host the pornographic manga right beside the Western-style sex comics, but this ain’t one of them. The art style is strictly Japanese, with big eyes, kanji and shapely forms all over the place. So much of it is content, niches and fetishes that you’re not going to find on your typical free tube or premium network. Hell, some of this shit is straight-up banned by the big boys.
One of my biggest complaints about Hentai Nexus’s simple layout is that I couldn’t find a Tags or Categories page. I always love browsing those, because you’ll find all kinds of weird shit you never knew existed. Even I’m still finding new fetishes on hentai sites, and I kind of have to assume artists are coming up with new ones all the time. Does anybody want to watch a lady give birth to eels through her nipples?
The search bar, located in the dropdown menu in the corner, is effective enough if you know what you’re looking for. Still, it’d be nice to browse the categories in a more convenient way. I ended up falling down the rabbit hole of tags listed on each comic’s respect page.
I started on a footjob comic about having a hot tutor for a sex pet, and then followed the comic’s Tags to Hentai Nexus’s X-ray section. The X-ray section alone runs 77 pages deep full of internal sex, and it’s where I found a dog-mating love story tagged with Monster Girl. The Monster Girl aisle ultimately led me to the Exhibitionism department, and from there, I ended up in the Inseki area. For the uninitiated, Inseki is step-taboo, but HentaiNexus.com also has a rich Taboo catalog.
Besides Tags, the individual hentai pages on Hentai Nexus list the Artist, Language, Publisher, and Parody (if any). Like the tags, most of those fields are useful if you know exactly what you’re looking for and use the search bar, but aren’t terribly helpful to newbies to porn manga. A simple way they could improve the browsability and ultimately the fappability of the site would be to add indexes for the Tags, Artists, Publishers and Parodies.
No-Frills Hentai Reading
In keeping with the rest of the simplified setup around here, the comics themselves are presented without a lot of frills or flashy lights. Below the tags and description is a gallery view of page thumbnails. Click one to pull up the full-size version, which can itself be clicked to flip to the next page. That’s it; no alternate views, auto-scrolling, or page-mirroring available.
I’m a little disappointed not to see those advanced hentai-reading options I see on some of the other major hentai sites, but at least they’ve got downloadable zip files available at a click for each comic. The one caveat is that you’ve got to sign up for an account, which ain’t a huge deal because it’s free and only takes a few seconds. The only other real perk I can see to signing up is that members can click the Favorite button to build their own online collection of uncensored hentai.
While I appreciated the streamlined format at first, I kept finding problems with it as I kept fap-testing Hentai Nexus. It’s frustrating how I can swap the palette for a couple of dozen different website color schemes with the dropdown at the bottom, but I can’t sort my search results by newness, popularity or rating like on most other porn sites. They’ve got a rich catalog of tags, artists and parodies, but you can’t find them unless you already know what you’re looking for. The streamlined format is adequate for reading hentai online, sure, but it lacks the convenience offered by some of the competition.
On the flip side, you want to know what blew my fucking mind about HentaiNexus? I turned my spam-blocker off at the beginning of my visit, just to see how the front page looked without it. I didn’t see any spam, and I actually forgot to reactivate the plugin. I browsed the site for a while, read a bunch of comics, and I didn’t see a single piece of spam at all. That’s practically unheard of on a free site. Holy shit.
Free sites almost always force you to make some kind of compromise. Usually, you have to put up with spam in exchange for content; the better the content, the more spam you get. HentaiNexus.com is an interesting one because it’s a different trade-off. While it lacks some of the browsability of other hentai sites, it’s a deep library of perversion devoid of the usual pop-ups, pop-unders and floating videos. Weaboos who already know what they’re looking for will love this, while more casual readers will just have to dig a little deeper to find their perfect futanari waifu gangbang.
