It might surprise you, but ShakeVidXXX.com is a tube site. Okay, you could have determined that by glancing at the URL and my thumbnail, but I am reviewing it. That means it is at least worthy of my attention. Is it worth your time, you wonder? Well, take just a couple of minutes to find out. 😉
The Design Is Basic, But It Gets The Job Done
While underwhelming, the design of this site is decent, at least on desktop machines. You see previews of dozens of clips from dirty movies, there is a basic search engine, and there are links to category, actor, and tag pages. While it lacks advanced filter options, the search engine can find basic forms of porn. However, the titles look like they were written by a corrupted version of ChatGPT, so finding anything rather niche is nearly impossible.
There are not a whole lot of ads to endure, and basic pop-up blocking software gets the job done. But again, that only applies to the desktop version! Overall, the site is quite responsive and runs well on all browsers that I tested it on.
When It Comes To Quality You Will Not Be Disappointed
Don’t expect a lively discussion or set of one-sentence reviews in the comments. Evidently, this is another one of those tubes that gets a lot of visits from bots and people who want to watch, whack it, and log off. Fortunately, I have gone through and seen a good smattering of the smut on this tube.
We all know that free porn sites are not renowned for quality, but as the years go by, I see more and more improvement. On this account, I looked at Shake Vid XXX with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. With a few exceptions, all of the videos that I have previewed are at least 720p or higher. There do not seem to be any videos where the video and audio or out of sync or where there is no sound at all.
Even the amateur movies look lovely and include performers I have never seen before. Finally, the uploads which have a few thousand views consistently have ratings at least as high as 80% positive.
The Categories Will Please Just About Anyone
At this point, I know what to expect when it comes to the tags and categories. About 80% of tubes have what I call the usual eight: anal, MILF, oral, lesbian, gangbang, big breast, amateur, and college, or some variation on those genres. Of course, Shake Vid XXX has those, along with hundreds of others!
That may seem impressive, and it kind of is since a lot of the categories are of porn performers. But since there are so many, it is rather unwieldy. If you are looking for a specific performer, I would use the Actor tab instead. If you want to find a specific niche of porn, click on the Tags link instead.
Also, all of the other links in the menu are spam except for the last one that links to this guy called ThePornDude. His site is pretty damn cool. 😉
Like So Many Others, This Tube Could Use A Little Improvement
Tube sites are not always known for their groundbreaking design, but a good percentage of them have designers that put a little effort into making the website look good. That is not the case here. There is nothing but white text on a black background, with a little bit of grey used in thumbnails and a few other elements. There is no icon or website logo, or anything to make the design engaging.
Then there is the issue of comparing the mobile and desktop versions. Ever since smartphones went mainstream, I thought that everyone was designing their site based on what it would look like on a mobile machine. Most people do, but that is not true of Shake Vid XXX. At first, I thought this was because this site is exceptionally old, but ShakeVidXXX.com was created in 2024! And yet, it looks shoddy on mobile devices. It is not the worst example of mobile optimization that I have ever seen, but if you log into this site using your phone or tablet, you will be swamped by adverts. On the other hand, the desktop version doesn’t have anywhere near as many pop-ups.
This Is Another Just Okay But Still Worth Watching Tube
As far as tubes go, this one is rather typical. There is currently a library of hundreds of hot movies which stand up to modern expectations of audio-visual quality. While the category section would suggest otherwise, the genres of porn are not exhaustive. Still, there is enough variety to entertain the typical, red-blooded, horny bloke or babe looking to get off.
I do have to give this site credit for having next to no spam problem, but that inexplicably only applies to viewing this site on a laptop or home computer. There are so many possible malware-laden pop-ups if you access this site on your mobile; I would not bother. That incarnation of this tube is practically unviewable.
Taking all of the details into consideration, I would apply a gamer term to this tube: it is for casuals. It’s fun enough to check out, scroll through, find a couple of videos and pleasure yourself and do something else. It’s more of a time waster than a time taker, so I will give Shake Vid XXX three hands.
