I’m very well-read, constantly reading all kinds of fine literature. I like everything from erotic stories about girls losing their virginities to science fiction epics about girls fucking aliens in space. Weaboos, neckbeards, the Japanese, and people who browse VNDB.org all know the best porn stories often have interactive elements and multimedia presentations.
Yeah, I’m talking about visual novels. If you’ve been looking for a massive database of them, cataloged in autistic detail, the Visual Novel Database (VNDB) is going to be your new joint. If you’ve never read, played, or fapped to a visual novel, get ready for a road map to some of the kinkiest shit you’ve ever read or fapped to.
What the Fuck is the VNDB?
Alright, before I go any further, I guess I should point out a couple of things. The first is that not every visual novel is about trying to perv out on your lesbian neighbors, put the moves on your sister, or bang a furry broad with a fluffy tail in your face when you’ve your dick in her ass. A lot of them are about boring shit without any porno-fucking scenes. The VNDB currently has around 27,000 visual novels listed, and only approximately 15,000 have sexual content.
Second, the VNDB doesn’t actually host any of these ahegao orgies and interactive stories about futanari diaper sex. In many cases, the visual novels in the database are no longer readily available, having been lost to the inevitable decay of time. Whenever possible, the listings do have links that will hook you. Sometimes you’ll have to purchase them from online stores; other times, free downloads are just a click away.
I know some of you are already thinking, what’s the fucking point? Most of us ain’t Rain Man, content to rock back and forth and read exhaustive lists of shit. We want to jack off to pornography! Let us read the visual novels, not read about them.
I feel that, and you’re right. The VNDB ain’t going to be all that useful for the casual consumer of erotic visual novels. Most of you will be fine just hitting up Nutaku or DLSite and seeing what’s available. (Each site has its own benefits and drawbacks, so check out my reviews before you bust out your credit card.)
So who’s it for? Obsessive hentai collectors and compulsive masturbators seem like the obvious audience. I think it’s also a goldmine for anybody looking for anything really specific. Generic office lady blowjobs and medieval futanari fantasy reads are easy enough to find. Still, the exhaustive tagging system at the Visual Novel Database makes it easy as fucking hell to find that obscure kink that gets you off harder than anything else.
Every Kink for Every Depraved Pervert
Look at the categories page of most porn sites, and what do you see? There’s a pretty standard list of genres like Lesbian, Anal, Blowjob, and often Teen or Taboo if you’re lucky. That ain’t what you see on the Sexual Content Tag page at VNDB. This is more akin to your typical hentai site, and if you’ve visited one, you already know what kind of kinky shit I’m talking about. I’ve got to hand it to the Japanese: for a relatively small country, they come up with the highest volume of new kinks and twisted fetishes to smack your dick to.
The categories are broken into various subcategories (“Child tags”), obsessively cataloged by fans of the stuff. If you’re into toys, you can check out the list of tags under Sexual Devices. They’ve got 1027 visual novels with Anal Toys listed, 262 with BDSM Clamps, and a mere 8 with Breast Press. They’ve got a Sexual Content by Activity section with a ton of interactive Blowjob stories (5915), Anal Penetration tales (3705), and a few choose-your-own Autopenetration adventures (7).
You’ll find the 445 visual novels with weird shit and 58 with Elderly Sex under Sexual Content by Participants, along with various categories of Futanari fucking people. There are Darker Sexual Contents, including Bloodplay, Dying Sex, and Grotesque Body Modification. Anybody up for some Penis Growth, Multiple Penises, Excessive Semen, or Hate Sex?
I pulled all those examples off the front page of VNDB’s erotic visual stories area. The full lists go ludicrously deep, giving instant access to a wide range of deeply perverted tags like Prolapse, Petrification, Stuck in Meatwall, and Vomiting Fetish. There’s Sexual Hair Eating and Face Farting, Navel Penetration, and Adult Breast Feeding.
And also, you know, plenty of pretty of vanilla shit like Anal Sex, Interracial Sex, and Double Penetration. Visual novels are for every variety of pervert, not just the deviates whose kinks violate the laws of both nature and man.
A Smorgasbord of Pornographic Implementation
One of the most useful tag categories for general perverts is the Implementation of Sexual Content. This is where you’ll find different ways the authors, programmers, and illustrators have managed to work sexual content into their visual novels.
About 6.5 thousand visual novels are filed under High Sexual Content, with most under the sub-subcategory Nukige. Those visual novels focus mostly on the perversion, with Nukige stories putting plot firmly in the background. It’s a good thing to know, because you don’t want to read a thousand pages looking for one goddamn impregnation scene.
Another Implementation tag that will help you find the pervy shit quick is Early Sexual Content. About 1300 pieces listed here get right to the good stuff from jump, and honestly, that’s my type of shit. You slow fappers who like to get all romancy and shit first, or get involved in a long fantasy quest before you fuck can check out the 387 Late Sexual Content stories. I’d avoid the Low Sexual Content stories, but Short Sexual Scenes are good for quick faps.
The visual element makes its presence known in some of these Implementation tags. They’ve got a whole section of visual novels that show Internal Exhibition of Sex. Mainstream pornos never have it because it’s impossible to film, but it’s popular in the world of hentai, doujinshi, and visual novels.

Exhaustive Tags for Advanced Searching
Tagging is one of the most useful ways to organize any collection of anything on the web, pornographic or not. It’s the best way to organize videos, for sure, but most of you regular porn users already know some of the limitations. Bad tagging means poor searching.
VNDB doesn’t seem to have that problem. I don’t see the overlapping tags or nonsense ones that plague a lot of user-submitted sites. The level of obsessiveness here rivals anything I’ve ever seen on neckbeard sites like Reddit, which is saying a lot. Call it nerdy if you want to, but some of you perverts are going to get a hell of a lot of use out of all the work these weaboo geeks have done cataloging all this shit.
VNDB.org is the most exhaustive catalog of visual novels the world has ever seen, and it only ever gets bigger. They’ve got about 15,000 of them listed with sexual content, a lot of featuring some of the kinkiest sex anybody has ever imagined. The site doesn’t host anything, but can usually point you in the right direction if you find something you need to fap to.
